We start imitating then we innovate
This is the announcement video I developed for an article titled, 'We start imitating then we innovate': Ruminations on Indian hip-hop with Smokey the Ghost, that is set to feature on the inaugural issue of the world’s first ever peer-reviewed periodical dedicated to the academic study of Hip-Hop culture around the globe.
The idea behind it was to keep the visual 'language' of the video raw and unpolished as a representation of the nature of the the growing Hip-Hop culture in India.
