This project shows the concept and process of making Blanket, a 3 piece chair which aims to play with the perception of wood as if it where as maleable as a blanket. Adding other supporting materials to enhance the aesthetics of it.
After several iterations, exploring the pieces involved and the concept. We concluded with a design that was made of 2 pieces of bended wood, and a metallic frame. These pieces would be united mechanically, but the intention was for it to look as if it where a single piece.
Finally, we made a scale prototype, in order to validate the assembly and proof our final design.
