The brief was to develop an identity for Piramal group - a conglomerate, better known for their dominant presence in the pharmaceutical industry. The logo had to embody the dynamism, technological advancement and progressiveness of the company.

The idea for the logo stemmed from the previous form. As shown below, the latin P and the devnagari 'pa' also form the symbol 'phi'. This symbol had attributes of stability and represented the companys indian origins.
