I did this drawing for my wife, who loves the Joker.  Right around the time that Joaquin Phoenix's new film Joker was about to release, my wife asked me to draw Joaquin's interpretation of the Joker and this was the piece that resulted.  I have to admit that I'm not very good with portraits, but any excuse to practice a good portrait drawing is always welcomed and I was overall happy with how this turned out.
