सखिये (Sakhiye)
visual interpretation of a classic A.R.Rahman's song

I will come straight to the point, this song is from the classic movie "anthimantharai" and it was on my mind for the last few years. I am so captivated by its composition that the words used in the song and what they mean is irrelevant. Afterall, these things dosnt matte...r when the song is composed by AR Rahman. The emotions and and feelings are heartfelt and aptly conveyed even though I dont understand the meaning of a single word in the lyrics. In short It is visual interpretation of a classic song. This song has some Wettish feeling.I dont know the exact phrase for that :),but I used to label rahmans song in this category, he has made many songs like this which is having that wetness... :) (e.g Indira movie song "thoda thoda / achham accham" iruvar all songs except jazz song) (wet·ness (wtns) n.: Rainy or persistently damp weather.)

This song is about a boy who is remembering his beloved girl, describing his beauty, memorizing her with long-lasting sadness...some melancholy feeling in this song...song has some "vyakulness" (dont try to find meaning of this word plz ;) lol) in it. While making this song my brother sushil and rushi helped me a lot. That lover boy is played by sushil...He tried his best to give romantic expressions (he hasnt a girlfriend yet so I know he cant give that expressions perfectly :))...afterall we are not full time director and actor...I had only 2 days in my hand to complete sushils scenes otherwise I could have extract exact emotions from sushil's face. Now enought pakavgiri... check you speakers/headphones, click on the link...conentrate on screen....feel the feelings. Thanks for watching....
