I was awarded use of the gallery's main and secondary viewing space as part of my solo show, Still Searching. I organized the main event, which included my art opening and featured a performance of my own spoken word set alongside performances by Cedar Falls based alternative band So Happy to Be Here and Maleficarum, a screamo/metalcore band out of Iowa City.

Organized and showcased art at a single-day DIY house show event in Iowa City. Cell Padding included more than 300 square feet of work by 20 different local artists, including mixed media, sculptural work, photography, digital art, painting, music performance and video work.

Served as the gallery attendant for Chait Galleries Downtown. This position included designing and cutting placards and advertisements, handling works of art, managing artist and client information, writing copy for gallery events and engaging customers in sales and service..

Displayed ten canvases for a two month period in Maison's lounge area.

Worked as the arts coordinator for local DIY venue The Space in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and was awarded use of their studio space during that period. I organized art events, prepared a format for future show bookings and event coordination and managed both art and music events onsite. In addition, I performed branding work for the gallery and venue, including pamphlets, business cards, logo work and event material. At the culmination of my time there, I showcased thirty pieces of my own digital work alongside fellow artist and close friend Tyler Linkenmeyer. Searching Through the Circuitry attracted the largest turnout the venue ever had for a show, headlined the arts section of our area's Sunday paper and featured more than fifty pieces of digital art, a spoken word set performed by myself and the record release for Tyler Linkenmeyer's first album.
