Game Artist, Web design

For several years he has been creating and maintaining websites, mainly dedicated to games. This allowed me to develop my copywriting skills and get a good experience of communicating with the gaming community. As a game copywriter, he has collaborated with companies such as Intel and Nikita Online. Later he became interested in creating games. For the last 10 years I have been working as a game designer, screenwriter and game copywriter. During this time, I had a chance to work on various projects and get a fairly versatile experience, from screenwriting and game design to marketing games.

Unreal Engine - The Complete Guide to C ++ Development

Description:

In this course, you will learn how to program in C ++ under the Unreal Engine.

We'll start with the basics of C ++ in the Unreal Engine and go over the architecture of the framework in detail. Consider all the base that is needed to bring your own ideas to life in the Unreal Engine.

The main project of the course is the third-person shooter ShootThemUp , which we will consistently develop, plunging into various subsystems and engine details. Together we will cover all the key concepts and write a lot of C ++ code. Each section of the course will contain homework assignments and tests to reinforce the material covered. At the end of each chapter, we will refactor to improve the quality and purity of our code and package the game.

By the end of the course, we will have a full-fledged game, the knowledge base will be replenished with everything necessary for comfortable use of C ++ in the Unreal Engine , and the understanding of the engine will be on a completely different level. In the future, you will be able to develop the acquired skills in the direction you are interested in, create games and implement all ideas on your own.

The course is developed for the latest version of Unreal Engine 4.26.

In the course we will cover the following topics:

Unreal Framework: core classes, types, macros, delegates, property system
Compiling the project: modules, targets
Garbage collector
Unreal Engine Component Model
Animation programming: state machine, FABRIK, anim notifies
UMG: user interfaces
Niagara visual effects
Collision handling
Physical materials
Postprocessing
Artificial intelligence: behavior trees, tasks, services, decorators, EQS
AI component of enemy perception
Sound Control: SoundCue, SoundClass, SoundMix, Attenuation settings
Controlling the game process: GameMode, PlayerState, GameInstance
Dynamic level loading

Complete course. Building a 2D Platformer with Unity

Description:

Do you like playing games? I would also like to start creating my own game projects, but you do not know where to start, since everything is scattered on the Internet and it is not clear if you are on the right path?

Then this course is for you!

Hello, friends! My name is Anvar Abdulsatarov and I am the author of this course

This course is intended for students who know a programming language and want to use this knowledge in the gaming industry. The students for whom this course is intended are beginner and intermediate game developers who want to understand as quickly as possible how to make a game in the fastest, most efficient, correct way, and most importantly, to understand WHY this or that solution is used.

At the end of this course, you will be able to start creating your own game. Also, you will always have several solutions to problems arising during game development and you will know exactly which of these solutions is the most optimal and, most importantly, you will know the reason why you need to use the solution you have chosen.

This course covers not only simple, but also more complex and interesting topics, such as creating animations, working with physics, raycasting, prefabs, creating a graphical interface, adding sounds and music, rendering an environment with Tilemap, manipulating game time and many others. those that will make you quickly understand all the subtleties of this game engine.

If you are still in doubt and think that my teaching method may not suit you, then I have great news for you! By purchasing a course on the udemy platform, you can cancel it within 30 days and return all your money.

My art

Even before I started working in the field of creating games, I decided to try my hand at writing. To do this, I opened a page on the Samizdat website, where I published my first book. As a test of the pen, my favorite genre of LitRPG was chosen (in fact, a mixture of cyberpunk and fantasy). According to the plot, the main character is already a middle-aged man who has devoted most of his life to developing games, takes part in an experiment to transfer human consciousness to digital media. During the experiment, he dies, and his consciousness is transferred into virtual reality with full immersion - a game that is actually a huge fantasy world with its inhabitants, both NPCs and real people - players. From this moment, his adventures in the world of the game begin. The hero is hunted by corporations trying to prevent competitors from taking over technology, actually giving humanity immortality. And the hero himself does not sit still, finding both friends and enemies in the game.

Despite my lack of writing experience, the public liked the book, and up to a thousand readers a day began to visit my page. Initially, I planned to write a whole series of books, but then I started working in the field of game development, and there was no time left for this hobby. At the moment, the second book is not yet finished, and the page on Samizdat is frozen. And yet, it was an interesting experience, which later helped me a lot in my work. You can get acquainted with the drafts in the "Examples of work" section.
