My placement at Fosters and Partners as part of the communications team consisted of a variety of design exercises for both internal use and projects for external organisations visually presenting the practice to clients and the public.

I regularly produced pieces of work for internal distribution providing information for members of staff on the company’s intranet system such as the opening of the new sketch model workshop within the company.

I worked on projects for external use including pieces for magazines covering arts sponsorship and communications appearing in Building Design and other industry publications.

I also assisted with the preparation of presentations for potential projects and brochures for the practice’s portfolio of delivered projects.

Whilst working at Smith and Gilmour I have been involved in various design projects including layouts for children’s annuals and cookery books, assisting with art direction on photo shoots, undertaking research and producing concept ideas for new projects. I have also participated in meetings with both existing and potential clients.
