Miya Shen (China), represents a new generation of artists working with 3D graphics and technologies, with a strong focus on the development of new sustainable digital fabric and virtual fashion clothing, and intends to build connections between countries. She was the Chinese artist Biome collective chose to work with last year, funded by Connections Through Culture - a grant programme run by the British Council in the UK and East Asia. Miya graduated with double master degrees at National Film and Television School (MA Digital Effects) and the University of Edinburgh (MSc Design and Digital Media).

Tackling the technical problems occurred with visual effects with team members for the Virtual Production, pre-and post-production
Creating landscapes in Unreal Engine and with Houdini (terrain sculpting, manual layout placement, procedural scattering)
Asset creation for real-time rendering with Maya, Houdini, Substance Painter
Being a VFX supervisor for the Virtual Production shooting and being a data wrangler onsite
