Hi, Amanda here!
I’m so glad you decided to have yourself a little look at my portfolio! Feel free to make yourself a cup of tea and relax. Let me tell a little bit about what got me here.
A while ago, back in Brazil, I went to Graphic Design College, where I learned the basics of typography, web design, and print, and also took part in several research projects about comics and sequential art. A few years have passed since then, and now I also graduated in Illustration at Ballyfermot College of Further Education.
My pet project for the last 3 years has been writing the webcomic Exploding Comics, published every Monday. After two years of weekly publications, it got me enough visibility to be contacted by the writer Hugo Boylan of Superhero Help Desk, who invited me into the independently published comic book High Fantasy. I do freelance work with children's books, didactic material and educational comics as well, and I also do portraits, cards, mugs, t-shirt prints, and am always open to discuss new medias and projects. I commonly work on my projects from start to finish on Photoshop and Manga Studio, but I also have vast experience with Illustrator and InDesign.
For traditional media, my main preferences are Bombay black indian ink combined with watercolor.
