Evaluating the project's overall look and feel and aesthetics, thus shaping the project. Making a project informative, exciting and pleasing. Cultivate a solid body of work. Take the design “brief” to record requirements and clients needs. Schedule project implementation and define budget constraints. Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software. Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts. Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas. Amend final designs to clients comments and gain full approval. Work as part of a team with developers, content writers etc.

Achievements:
Enhanced management and communication skills which includes the ability to work with others and to manage the task production and making it happen. A strong understanding of Design principles and UI, UX and responsive design trends.

Responsibilities:

Proven graphic designing experience with possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality. Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio. Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas. Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Aftereffects etc). Highly proficient in all design aspects. Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines.

NCA initiated the Postgraduate Centre in Multimedia Art to produce multimedia professionals who can apply professional skills creatively and ethically for problem-solving through applied research and comprehension of theoretical and philosophical underpinning. The Post Graduate Centre of Multimedia Art will help students come at par with prevailing international standards of Visual Arts education in the wake of phenomenal development in Information Technology the world over. The Centre conducts a Master in Multimedia Art, a Post Graduate Diploma in Multimedia Art and several shorts courses.

Students will be able to complement their previous studies and work experience with knowledge and skills in the design and development of multimedia products. The programmes are designed to prepare graduates for multi-faceted careers in the multimedia industry. There will be opportunities to develop and apply their teamwork, project management and business planning expertise through industry based multimedia projects.

The Centre will provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand the rapidly developing field of Multimedia. It will also enable them to create and critically evaluate interactive Multimedia applications. The PGCMA will raise the level of multimedia application in all professional areas such as video production, multimedia authoring, interactive design & character animation etc. The courses will prepare students for multi-faceted careers in the multimedia industry.

NCA has set up a state-of-the-Art Multimedia Centre with financial assistance from the Punjab Information Technology Board. The Programme has been developed with the technical assistance from the French Government and the Ecole Supérieure D’art D’Aix-en-Provence, France.
