Extensive experience designing an assortment of business collateral including DVD and CD packaging, posters, books and book covers, newsletters, magazines, invitations, publicity materials, education materials, trade show display and conference materials, brochures,
web-graphics, signage, banners, logos and identity systems.

Served as art director and designer for Smart Company Magazine, a bi-monthly business magazine for Washington and Frederick Counties in Maryland. Designed the premier issue and set up templates and style sheets for junior designers and magazine staff to use. Ongoing responsibilities include overall art direction of magazine, designing features and cover, art direction of photo shoots and commissioning original illustration.

Served as consulting art director and designer for all Ridgerunner Publishing publications, including Hagerstown Magazine, Peak Season Magazine, HM Home, Due North, The Hagerstown and Washington Counties Visitors Guide, Garrett County Adventure Guide and more.

Responsible for design and layout of features and departments; assigning and art directing original illustrations and photography; retouching and color correcting hires art. Also served as art director for regional editions of the magazine.

Full time freelance designer for the parent company of The Discovery Channel and The Learning Channel. Part of a 7 member design group that worked on all design materials for Discovery. Designed press kits, start-up kits for new programming, brochures, logos and trade advertising.
