Dr. Darren Carpizo is a Surgeon-Scientist with a clinical practice that specializes in Hepato-biliary and Pancreatic Cancers. He is the director of the Liver Tumor Study Group which is a specialized multi-disciplinary team of doctors managing liver and bile duct cancers at the Cancer Institute and Robert Wood-Johnson University Hospital. He is also the principal investigator of a cancer research laboratory that studies the development of novel cancer drugs as well as pancreatic cancer biology.
