Graduated from a Master of Arts course at University of Arts in Poznan in 2014, majoring in Set Design, speciality Fashion Design in the studio of Anna Regimowicz-Korytowska. Studied at the Department of Fashion and Textile at Marmara University in Istanbul, where she attended classes in Fashion Design, Textile Printing and others, during an Erasmus scholarship programme. Her works were published, ie. in The Wall Street Journal (US), Canarias7 (Italy), terra magazine (Spain) and Grafmag (Poland). The scope of her artistic activities includes fashion and costume design, textile printing, painting (including the Turkish ebru technique), drawing and installations. She creates art that exists between fashion, theatre and spectacle, recognizing narration as the foundation of her work. She is designer of theatre and film costumes, who cooperated with Lebus Theatre in Zielona Góra, Poznan Music Theatre, Białystok Puppet Theatre, and Silesia University’s Krzysztof Kieślowski Department of Radio and Television in Katowice. Self-professed opera afficionado, she created costumes and set designs to diploma plays by the students of I. J. Paderewski Music Academy in Poznan’s Vocal and Acting Department (Landru, the ladykiller, dir. Z. Grochal; Love potion, dir. N. Babińska, music dir. M. Wieloch) and a recital dress for soprano Zofia Garganisz’s diploma in Karol Szymanowski Music Academy in Katowice. A leader of workshops for designers (eg. fashion drawing, mask design) and a lecturer, she writes about costume and culture on her personal blog DRUGIE OKO (SECOND EYE). Currently teaches Fashion illustration and Portfolio Design at Fashion School in Poznan.
Actively spends her free time visiting galleries of modern art or acquiring knowledge of new fields such as scriptwriting or flower arrangement. Read Less
