He studied Marketing and Advertising at Los Libertadores University in Bogotá and he has worked in two of the biggest agencies in Colombia; Ogilvy & Mather and SANCHO BBDO, where he is currently the Total Work Creative Director.

During his 9 years experience in advertising, A.K.A Mimo, has already won 141 national and international awards, including several New York Festivals, One Show, London International Awards and 9 Cannes Lions in different categories such as Press, Media Innovation, Promotions, Activations, Radio, Outdoor and Cyber, this last one being the first Cannes Lions Cyber Award in Colombia. He also has achieved 13 publishings at the German’s magazine Lüerzer’s Archive, has the First Prize Award awarded by the ONU at NEW YORK FESTIVALS 2014, he occupied the 218th place in The Worlds Largest Creative Ranking - 2013, and is one of the most awarded creatives in Colombia.

He has been jury in Ojo de Iberoamérica, FIAP, Cannes Young Lions and New York Festivals, he has worked for important brands such as Visa, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Nestlé, British American Tobacco, Sony, El Tiempo, Kimberly, Kia Motors, WWF, GSK, Getty Images and Mattel.
