I’ve known I wanted to be a graphic designer since I was 11 - one behind-the-scenes tour of MGM Studios at Disneyworld, and I was hooked. Though my initial aspirations of a career in animation evolved over time, the driving force remained the same: to create.

I am an energetic, award-winning graphic designer & art director with over a decade in the industry, accomplished in brand identity, typography, strategic conceptualization, and creative development. Creative problem-solving is my passion, and I’m never happier than when I have an intense design challenge in front of me. • Art directed photo shoots for various lifestyle and studio photography projects for Kindle Worldwide Marketing team, including Kindle Paperwhite/Kindle Fire tablets (6th generation), Fire TV, and Fire Phone product launch photography.

• Designed and wrote copy for Kindle Fire print ads, and designed global print ad series to launch Kindle Paperwhite in Indian, Australian, and Canadian markets.

• Art directed numerous photo shoots and several video projects, and developed various designs and illustrations for Amazon Creative Services, the global internal creative agency at Amazon. Clients included Amazon Mom, Amazon MP3, Amazon Prime, Pinzon bedding, Sports & Outdoors, Home & Kitchen, Amazon Gift Cards, and more.

Creative Director

• Completed total redesign of the council website (including creative direction, art direction, design strategy, user interface design, information architecture, graphic design, and photography), increasing average time spent on site, and number of users to about 15,000 per month. KansasGirlScouts.org is also a Wordpress Showcase featured website on WordPress.org, and remains a top-10-rated site.

• Spearheaded rebranding of annual Cocktails & Cookies fundraising event campaign (including new logo & collateral), which in turn surpassed predicted goals and raised nearly $70,000.

• Provided art direction for freelancers and creative interns, and served as professional council photographer.

• Despite budget restrictions, provided unique creative solutions that increased girl and adult membership, increased visibility in the community, and enhanced the organization’s image with members, donors, and the general public.
