As the styling intern I work closely with the head stylist to select the looks that are featured on the website. Everyday we go out and shoot editorial looks for the site. I also help out with the fit model shoots that are featured in the shopping cart and with lifestyle shoots that feature home goods and other products. Each day I have the chance to hand select my own look, which has been an invaluable experience.

As the only intern for the New York Sportswear team, I did a variety of tasks. Mainly, I created the flats and line sheets that were sent out throughout the company as well as manufactures and buyers. I also helped develop concepts and inspiration for the upcoming seasons. Other tasks included measuring samples, Organizing closets and racks, fit modeling, running errands and other daily tasks.

Daily errands and tasks including magazine runs and taking new models to their casting calls. Most of my time was spent working on updating the models look books, going through magazine and clipping out their latest shoots and ads. This also included cropping and adjusting color digitally. Also, I would pull potential models from the database for the agents to possibly scout and sign.

As a crew person, I worked the register and handled customer experience and service. Working for McDonald's from a young age helped me to learn the importance of the customer early on. i always enjoyed interacting with patrons and putting a smile on their faces. During this time I also helped preform an audit of the 750+ employees. I was put in charge of ensuring of social security and personal information was up to date.
