Desiree A.J.H. Harig

Overnight Receiving Manager

Portland, OR, USA
Educationally trained as an Illustrator, I quickly immersed myself in the field of visual merchandising and design as student at the College for Creative Studies. While still enrolled at CCS, I completed two internships at established fashion retail boutiques that stimulated my interest in the creative aspect of visual design. After my graduation in 2013 I was hired at a local independent retail startup called The Detroit Mercantile Company. The Detroit Mercantile Company is a local favorite and a pioneer of modern retail with their combination of Detroit centric antiquities and an all USA Made line of products. My employment at The Detroit Mercantile Company furthered my education in the field of inventory logistics, receiving and interactive merchandising that I took with me to my current employment at Avanti Press. At Avanti Press I am one of the primary inventory control and packaging leaders that oversees the production of inventory while actively maintaining the wholesale accounts for Scan Based Trading companies.
