I was hired by IKEA India as an Interior Designer for their first store in India. As a part of the profile, I inspire visitors by the medium of In-store displays. These displays are meant to show the IKEA range and provide locally relevant solutions.

I attended an Apprenticeship program under the guidance of Mr. Kiran Vaghela who is a Civil Engineer and a well renowned Architect in Bhuj, Gujrat.

During the course of this training, my brief was to design furniture for Indian middle income and low income groups. This product had to be such that it could be mass produced by local artisans.

During my one month internship project with Dovetail Furniture Pvt. Ltd. I was designing for 'The Design Store' which is the home furniture brand managed by Dovetail. The store, so far, has its outlets in Bangalore and Mumbai.

I worked on the brief of 'Flat-pack Furniture' for homes. I successfully designed and made two prototypes during the course of this internship.
