A Producer and Director, Dean Zanetos has worked on a range of television and motion picture projects, including directing sequences of Battlestar Galactica and directing the videography for the Sonoma Jazz Festival. Aiming for optimum audience appeal, Mr. Zanetos is dedicated to providing complex production in accordance with the requirements set by network television and motion picture studios, as well as insurance bonds.

At the beginning of his career, Dean Zanetos fulfilled the roles of director and cameraman as a soldier in the United States Army. Mr. Zanetos coordinated motion picture production for the Third Army and gained experience that he would draw upon throughout his career. Next, Mr. Zanetos worked as a cameraman for an array of projects, including low budget features produced by Roger Corman and documentaries for ABC’s Wide World of Sports.

In the years that followed, Dean Zanetos began to produce movies of the week for ABC Studios and NBC Studios. He produced Hawaiian Heat, which introduced Tia Carrere, and it went on to become a series for ABC Studios. He also produced Battles, The Murder That Wouldn’t Die, which starred William Conrad, and The Legend of the Golden Gun, which starred Hal Holbrook. Subsequently, Mr. Zanetos gained a position at Universal Studios and directed and produced a number of network television series, including Voyagers, which went on to be released as an international feature.

After directing and producing a series of Ticketmaster National Showcase music specials that aired on MTV for three consecutive years, Dean Zanetos began to take on more and more music-related projects. From 1999 to 2004, he was videographer for several Jimmy Buffet tours, and, in his role as director of video production for Sonoma Jazz Festival, he worked with legendary artists such as Tony Bennet and Sheryl Crow.
