GOOD Ideas for Cities participant

GOOD Ideas for Cities taps creative problem solvers to tackle real urban challenges and present their solutions at live events across the country. In April 2012, this program came to Richmond. Participating in a multi-disciplinary team led by an urban leader, we were issued a challenge to make the region more attractive to travelers who travel along two major highways through the state, encouraging them to stop and experience the rich art, history and entertainment Richmond offers. We developed a campaign involving mural artists, locally-appointed ambassadors, and a unique hashtag (#whyRVA) to delight, entertain, and inform this audience of why they should stop and visit.
