David G. Bohn has served as president of Preferred Utilities Manufacturing Corporation since 1995. Established in 1920, the Danbury, Connecticut, company maintains a leading position in the development and manufacturing of oil-handling systems and boilers for diverse industrial and nuclear power applications. Joining the corporation in 1987 as an inside sales professional, David G. Bohn accepted responsibilities as the company’s New England district sales manager the following year. Over a six-year period, he managed a wide range of outside service and sales personnel, including consulting engineers, who helped refine diverse products and systems. Developing detailed performance and budget metrics, he oversaw a 350 percent annual revenue expansion.

As president of Preferred Utilities Manufacturing Corporation, Mr. Bohn has guided overall financial profitability and expansion. His product development efforts have generated increased production and inventory selection efficiency. He has also led dedicated employee recruitment initiatives that have populated the firm’s R&D ranks with top-tier engineers and technicians. David G.
