Trivago

Web/App Designer

I worked at the trivago headquarters in Düsseldorf, Germany as an App and Web designer for a contracted period of time.

I single handily re-designed trivago's mobile application for Android using Google's material design. I spent my first six months working closely with trivago's mobile team which included a project manager, UX designer and creative director. I played the key-role in piecing together the main designs for Android, which subsequently paved the way for trivago's iOS application.

I moved to work on the front-end design look and feel of the Hotel Search; which is seen by over 85 million people per-month. My job was to put together responsive mock-ups of carefully designed A/B test’s for the team of 40+ developers to implement across the platform. The most successfully implemented A/B test increased company revenue by 11million EUR.

I also was given a handful of innovation projects which provided multiple disruptive design solutions to improve the UX for future exploration.

A two page reference of my performance is available on request.
