Freelance Contract

Senior Designer for the Creative Services Department working on a wide range of projects. Designing layouts for many various magazine titles. Working with sales staff to achieve the goals of their respective clients though print and web ad creation, photography, branding, web design, event signage, brochure design, copywriting and concept development. Coordinating production of these assets with photographers, models, products, automobiles and the client directly. Most of this work ends up as advertising running in one of SIM's many print and online publications:

Bound by Ink, Geek, Heavy Hitters, Recoil, Home Theater, Shutterbug, Stereophile, Hot Rod, Motor Trend, Lowrider, Super Streetbike, Motorcyclist, European Car, Honda Tuning, Modified, Import Tuner, Skateboarder, Surfer, Snowboarder, Powder, Canoe & Kayak, SUP (Stand Up Paddler), Dirt Kings, Mud Life, Off-Road, Diesel Power and many other enthusiast/lifestyle oriented magazines.

Working as a Designer/Art Director and creative advisor for friends and acquaintances I've had the opportunity to work on some great projects including working with various non-profit organizations both local and out of state. Specializing in branding and logo design, business cards, web design, brochures, event signage, album artwork, t-shirts, posters and flyers.

Clients include:
Steve Berke for Mayor, The Little Lighthouse Foundation, Nightmare on the Beach, Hearts & Stars Gala, Ray Lewis Foundation, VR2 Consulting, Chapman Partnership for the Homeless, DJ Matt Postrel, Upperatus.

Also an artist working with a variety of mediums but mainly focused on aerosols, stencils and screen printing. I operate under the name "The New(s)" for this work and have shirts for sale on society6.com and skreened.com. This is where I can be freely creative, often using subversive anti-establishment aesthetics and street art production methods. Very knowledgable in the screen printing process, being self taught, knowing the process from beginning to end, from screen creation, dark room / art studio setup to printing the finished artwork.

Worked as Graphic Designer creating ad layouts for Amped, a weekly magazine distributed internally in the music and movie industry, advertising new and upcoming releases of CDs, DVDs and video games.
