Daniel Heath is a London based designer-maker specialising in traditional silk-screen printing for interior product and produce a range of wallpapers and upholstery fabrics.
Daniel has recently launched a collection of interior hard product and furniture in collaboration with interior design and salvage specialists Retrouvius. The pieces use laser etching to translate his signature designs onto Victorian oak and glass.
Daniel teaches Printed Textiles at Loughborough University School of the Arts where he is involved in the Textile Research Group and DUCK: an online journal for research in textiles and textiles design (http://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/ac/mainpages/Research/staff%20groups/DUCK%20(Website). In spring 2011 Daniel was invited to teach a series of evening adult workshops at the V&A and, due to the popularity of these workshops, has opened the doors to his North London workshop in order to teach 1-to-1 or small group workshops in wallpaper screen-printing. Read Less
