Consultancy And Other Work

In my spare time, I am one third of the vinyl-only independent record label The Popty-Ping Recording Company, where I also am responsible for all design work. I have solely developed, branded, and produced a range of promotional material for Leicester music and comedy venue The Cookie, prior to their change in ownership. I also co-run a regular DJ night, raising money for a local mental health charity, for which I have also undertaken static and animated design work and video.

Skills
I am imaginative and innovative, and comfortable working to an exceptional standard under the tightest of deadlines. A friendly, helpful team player, equally comfortable sharing skills and developing others as learning new techniques. I can work strictly to specific briefs, as well as working more creatively to open ones. As well as an eye for current trends and styles, I have a strong appreciation of design history, so can add context to projects. I also make a very good cuppa.

Key Areas

Retouching, digital photography (tethered DSLR), print design (including factors such as ink limits etc), web design, HTML/CSS (with the odd bit of PHP and SQL), branding, shop front design, motion graphics/video/animation, paper/card engineering.
