I've known I was going to be an artist from the time that I was old enough to hold a crayon. It's cliché, but it's true. I was constantly doodling in class, and worked harder than my peers to gain the recognition that came with having your art project displayed in the hallway. In elementary school, I wanted to be a cartoonist. In middle school, I wanted to pursue computer animation. But my freshman year of high school, I finally realized that graphic design was exactly where I would fit in. It's the perfect combination of creativity, organization, and problem-solving.
I like gourmet cooking, collecting movies, The Office, coffee, my Kindle, music videos, Harry Potter, spontaneous road trips, Netflix, and the occasional spelunking adventure. I serve on the board of directors for Nebraska AIGA as Director of Membership, after 2 years as serving as Director of Social Media. Read Less
