Atelier / D is an international architectural practice with offices in Bucharest and Targoviste. Founded by 2 partners, architects Dana Tudor and Dragos Nastase, the practice has the expertise to provide full architectural design services, from concept design stage to construction supervision. Our design skills also include interior design, object design, urban design and landscape design services.
In all our work we aim to consciously devote a consistent energy and enthusiasm to every project, striving to make buildings that are embraced by their inhabitants. Our approach to design address the specific features and potential of each project, with careful consideration of the site and environment, respect for local materials and culture, seeking out the expertise and contributions of craftspeople and artists as an integral part of the design process.
We also believe that the design process requires architects to think and draw a space that can reconcile society and culture with the independence of the individual, allowing man and architecture to coexist in a continuous, interconnected space.
