Senior Designer & Client Management Coordinator
Amcor is the world’s largest packaging company providing innovative solutions that are at the forefront of the industry.
In 2010 Damayanti joined Amcor’s Innovation & Design studio, based in Melbourne, as a Mid Weight Graphic Designer. In this role, Damayanti was responsible for the implementation of the new global brand identity for Amcor’s Australasian corporate communications. The breadth of her portfolio extended from exhibition design to publications and packaging. She was also a key member of the ‘Ideation’ team, responsible for developing innovative packaging ideas and concepts for commercial customer projects.
To extend her role just beyond design, Damayanti was promoted to Senior Designer and Client Management Coordinator in 2012. In this role, she was accountable for the end to end delivery of major brand projects, briefing each project to the studio team, managing relationships with clients and project managing through to realisation and production. She mentored junior designers and contributed to the maintenance and stewardship of the Amcor brand. As a senior professional in the group, Damayanti was a key part of the Leadership team, which developed the vision and strategic plan for the group.
