Daichi previously worked as an illustrator and a production artist for publishers and game companies in Japan and the U.S. He received his BFA and MA in Art/Animation/Illustration from San Jose State University. He later changed his career to a more technical application of his artistic abilities and education. Presently he is working at Adobe Research to design and program art tools, such as Flame filter in Photoshop, as well as helping other researchers from an artist’s perspective. Daichi enjoys traditional medium such as pen and acrylic paint, as well as digital art programs, like Photoshop and Maya. He likes learning and applying new technologies in the world of artistic creation. Read Less
