Auracle is a company that I founded in 2006. As Creative Director and Owner, I have led numerous company launches for our clients and developed marketing and advertising programs. My duties cross many disciplines including all aspects of creative development, brand research, brand strategy development, account planning and client service. I regularly manage teams of up to 16 people and an array of vendors to accomplish sophisticated media needs for our clients. My areas of expertise for Auracle include competitive research, strategy development, naming, brand identity, web development, print and television advertising, digital marketing, social media, print collateral, pop/pos materials, signage and environments. I regularly oversee media planning and management of advertising budgets ranging from small -1.2 million per year.

As a special assignment I spent three months helping to lead the design work for the Chevrolet collateral launch team at Goodby Silverstein & Partners. Duties included development of initial look and feel strategy, photography planning and art direction, and design for the Chevrolet print and online materials.

Landor Associates

Senior Designer, Design Director

As a full time Design Director at Landor, I led projects and creative teams for clients such as BP, Charles Schwab, and FedEx. Projects typically included development of a new visual identity, look and feel, brand voice and corporate guidelines. Applications spanned print, online, digital, and environmental. Specifically, I led the corporate identity group team for the launch of BP during 2000-2001, traveling regularly between New York and London to manage the project and eventually helped to transition that business to Landor's London office. I also lead CI teams for the launch of Charles Schwab and ongoing retainer client FedEx.

Senior Designer

SHR worked with many Fortune 500 clients developing brand strategies, visual identities and also using their proprietary brand testing methodology: Visual Positioning. While with SHR I developed brands and testing programs for many large clients. The visual testing process helped me hone my understanding of brand perception cues, how various audiences process information differently and gave me an understanding of testing methods and metrics.
