As art director of D5 media I get to work on all sorts of projects. Some serious. Some really really weird. It's great.

During my time at Designarm I held a series of responsibilities from dealing with clients to handling money. My responsibilities included giving presentations to clients selling concepts and ideas. I learnt to present my self and approach a wide variety of people in a friendly and responsible manner. I was also in charge of buying for the company meeting requirements of other employees and being trusted to find the cheapest or most cost effective solution for the company. Mainly I am in charge of marketing, I use my design skills and creativity to bring in work not only from an established customer base but from new clients.

I am currently studying Graphic Design at degree level. The course is great and I feel I am producing some great work.

I studied film, scriptwriting, animation and 3d modelling. However I found the course to be very basic and un-specialised.

This is where I learnt the fundamentals of film. The course was great, brilliant tutors, great peers. This is where I first discovered the benefits of being surrounded by creatives and like-minded individuals.

Design: Critical Practice at Goldsmiths changed the way I work for the better. My time there helped me to refine processes and think more deeply about the consequences and implications of each and every pen stroke.
