Cristina Vanko

Designer, Thinker, Illustrator, Data Visualizer

Indianapolis, IN, USA
I'm Cristina Vanko and I'm a graphic designer and illustrator that enjoys working with a variety of media, both handmade and digital. I'm a recent graduate of Indiana University–Bloomington where I earned degrees in BFA Graphic Design and BA Spanish.

With my eclectic background and interests in art, design, and language, I strive to create unique, innovative design with the power to communicate novel ideas and concepts. I strongly value process, study, and experimentation to grow as a designer. Exploration in design allows me to dive freely into design opening new gateways, in turn, creating a myriad of possibilities. I wholeheartedly believe design has the potential to create impact. By employing creative design, design has the power to make a difference and create change on the local and global scale. Being a socially and environmentally conscious designer, I seek to bring postive change through innovative design.

In addition to design, I’m an experienced printmaker, painter, and bookmaker. Although my background is primarily in print media, I have experience with web, interactive, and motion design. I enjoy learning and am open to new opportunities in digital design.

I'm currently available for collaborations, full-time, and freelance work.
