As the Design Director of a newly formed division, I was responsible for creating an 'Artful Living' product image that aligned with the ever evolving and complex brand pillars of Cirque du Soleil. To support the growth and influence of design in the retail business development, I built a confident design team, and promoted a culture of excellence. Aside from managing seasonal direction and long-term vision for multiple internal/external projects, I became 'La Vigie' of the retail brand and responsible for external product development by international partners, licensees, and suppliers. With the collaboration of senior executives and cross-functional teams, I developed identity systems and partnership guides for Merchandising that upheld the brand image and supported intellectual property protection for expanding Cirque du Soleil trademarks.
