I have become a platypus.
My experience in advertising and post-production as well as running my own small design shop for several years has demanded that I develop a myriad of skills. Consequently, I function highly as an Art Director, traditional and interactive designer, and photographer with back up abilities in illustration, video editing, videography and copywriting. I’ve found a balance for all this digital work in getting my hands dirty screen printing, modifying my vintage mopeds, brewing beer, infusing vodka, traveling and whatever other adventures I find. Because of my wide range of interests I stay very informed of new technologies and trends in all creative fields.
I work extremely well independently and under-pressure. I’ve learned how to collaborate as both a leader and member of a team and understand the trust needed in delegation. Having managed everything from rookie interns to film crews in the dangerous red light district of Juarez I have a reputation for being “unflappable.” I’m able to keep the creative process consistently productive as well as inspire my team with an approachable affability, and an inspirational desire for excellently refined concepts.
My current objective is to join a rabidly creative team that is evolving well as our industry shifts. I’d like more ownership of my creative projects and a greater challenge. I continually create effective and award-winning work in and out of my workplace; and so the caliber of both my team, and our clients, are very important to me.
Lately I’ve been working on conceptual platforms and sharpening my presentation skills. My capacity for creative thought, intuition, communication skills, resourcefulness and very diverse skill set are my greatest strengths.
And lastly, I’m not nearly as dry as this cover letter sounds but I’m pretty sure you have robots scanning these for keywords. If you believe that we can improve the world both aesthetically and actually, get in touch. Read Less
