The facilitator’s job is to promote discussions by creating a sensitive, safe, respectful, open and honest atmosphere. By talking about topics that are usually left untouched, one expected outcome of this discussions is the awareness of other racial groups opinions and feelings by first learning each individual’s background and therefore diminishing the unfounded fear that exists between people of different cultures.
