Chuwy (María Jesús Jiménez) was born in Antequera, a small village in the south of Spain.
After finishing her degree in Advertising she worked for several agencies, mainly in branding, illustration and graphic design. She also managed to produce a successful vector illustration portfolio globally recognized in the micro stock industry (www.istockphoto.com/chuwy).
With more than 15 years of professional experience with clients like the United Nations, the Huffington Post, the European Parliament, Wacom, BBVA and regional companies and magazines, she currently works as a freelance; also illustrating commissions, children´ books and increasing her portfolio of illustrations.
