Christopher Eckel

Creative Director

New York, NY, USA
I am a Creative Director in New York City. I work to meticulously craft designs that speak to the imagination. I believe in being curious about everything, but passionate about a select few; determining your convictions and fighting for them. I believe that a budget should never determine quality, and consequently, that money is a poor substitute for meaning. I work with my hands, and believe that no matter how ubiquitous technology becomes, great work will always begin by putting pencil to paper. I strive for clarity, knowing that first understanding your constraints is the basis for efficient and thoughtful work. I believe great design can go far, but will only have real impact when in service of greater ideas. I look for opportunities that align with my ethical positions and aesthetic sensibilities, and working for clients who do the same.

Note — This work is old. Very old. See for what I've been up to, or visit for a dose of documentary photography.
