The Center for Visual Communication (VISCOM) is CSUN’s on-campus, student-run creative agency, providing design for brands, experiences, and time-based media for a wide range of regional, national, and global clients. Members are responsible for a wide range of tasks including design, writing project proposals, leading projects, and corresponding with clients. VISCOM combines teaching and research when our students, faculty, and industry professionals work together on real-world projects to support education and career preparation.

The student graphic artist is responsible for developing a variety of print materials including posters, banners, fliers, and other branded items such as t-shirts and other giveaway items for the various programs and facilities provided by the USU.
