I spent much of my youth making all sorts of designs and emblems. Typography and imagery were the hallmark of my passion. I pushed this passion through college, obtaining a BFA in Graphic Design in 2001 from The College for Creative Studies. Although I have never maintained a career in traditional graphic design, I take many opportunities to pursue personal projects, help anyone in need, or the occasional freelance effort. Read Less

The portfolio I presented at my entrance interview at The College for Creative Studies was two chalk drawings, two graphic design pieces and four photographs. When I was accepted I immediately chose graphic design as my major. I can not answer why, but I know it was not a mistake as I never looked back. Photography was always on my mind, but never in my timing. It took many years for my return to the hobby. Today I never leave home without my camera and enjoy learning as much as possible about this reborn hobby. I do believe this art form is my true calling,and am looking into opportunities to make this my full time endeavor. Read Less
