As a photographer and author I have the privilege of creating for a variety of clients on assignments ranging from product to portraiture to adventure travel.

With the Studio my duties included creating brand vision, producing designs for digital and print, and developing solutions to connect clients with their audiences.

During my time with Aethon I captured detailed close-up images of utility hardware from a variety of rotorcraft, both in doors-on and doors-off configurations, and under varying and often unforgiving weather conditions. I was also responsible for developing procedures for our team to follow regarding safe in-air operations of our cameras and equipment, data handling, and image editing. As a trainer I provided education for new photographers, editors, and support staff on the above procedures (on the ground and in the air) to ensure safe and accurate operations during the project.

My work with American Adventurist involved managing authors and assignments, photo retouching and content design, event / trade show presence and booth planning, and of course, producing my own articles.

At Overland International I was responsible for designing the company’s web experiences, photography and photo editing, general production for Overland Journal magazine, and producing content for the Expedition Portal website. I was also heavily involved with both phone and in-person customer service, inventory and shipping, and field operations (including navigation and overnight/multi-day solo and group travel to remote back country locations).

With LMDX I primarily worked on brochures, product catalogs (print and digital), and websites for our clients. Duties included the creation of initital concepts, design and layout, photography and photo editing, programming in web languages (PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript), server management, and production work with our printing partners to ensure the highest quality for our printed work.

As a partner with Rseven I was responsible for managing client relationships and field technicians, training new staff, onboarding new clients, administration of servers and network equipment, installation of network cabling and equipment, and occasionally light-duty construction as needed for network infrastructure facilities.

While serving as the IT Director at Aztec I was responsible for all matters related to IT and telecommunications. Duties included network design and installation; management of servers, routers, and other network equipment; training of new users; development of custom proprietary software and databases; build-out of new locations (including both internal and VPN networks); and even a fair amount of data entry.
