As Design Director of a boutique software development company, I was tasked with creating identities/UI for unique startups. I cut my teeth designing wireframes, mobile + web UI and creating sexy pitch mockups to entice investors... and never in that order. This was a tight, tech-savvy group that never settled. My biggest task was to keep up. Best job I ever had!
