Carlos Ruiz

Visual Designer

Seattle, WA, USA
I have a strong passion for all things design and technology. My design career thus far has lead me down the path of working for clients such as Amazon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Microsoft, and Toyo Tires. I've been involved in projects that ranged from e-mail newsletter design, corporate web experiences, product icons, and even in-store video displays.

Previously I held volunteer position as Social Media Director for the Decibel Festival which had me overseeing their entire social media presence and maintaining their Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Instagram pages.

In my spare time I'm involved in the music community within Seattle as a DJ and promoter. I work hard to push the music I love and support those around me who are pushing Seattle's electronic music scene to new heights.

I'm currently freelancing on a small team working directly with a telecommunications client to update their web presence. This has been a top to bottom refresh of their overall brand and site. I developed a style guide to help their in-house design team and agency of record keep their overall presence clean and consistent. I also worked with their Small Business and Enterprise groups to develop promotional items for their individual services like sales sheets and a promotional eBook.
