🍖Birmingham native with a passion for digital storytelling and user experience (UX).

🔥I have been a co-founder and principal designer at Red Steel Creative since 2007, where I have worked on several successful projects, including a college website redesign and an e-commerce website development.

🎓I am the Assistant Director of Digital Content at Birmingham-Southern College, where I lead a team of designers and content creators to develop engaging content for the college's social and communication channels.

🖥️ Before that, I worked as a web designer at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where I coordinated with the advancement communications team to boost digital storytelling for a billion-dollar campaign. I also worked as a full-stack designer at Protective Life Insurance, where I focused on improving the customer experience on the company's website.

🔮As for my future, I’m looking to work as a director of web or interactive with a diverse team that can tell rich stories with new and emerging media.

🏕️When I’m not working you can catch me in the woods hiking and backpacking.

💪🏻 Strengths and skills include design, web development, user experience, branding, and team leadership. I have successfully led teams and completed several successful projects in these areas, demonstrating the ability to improve website performance and increase engagement on social media channels. I have also shown expertise in digital storytelling and have a strong understanding of user experience and design thinking.
