Brook&Lyn Studio is the husband and wife team of Mimi Jung and Brian Hurewitz. In 2011, they combined their experience in design, advertising, social media, fashion and technology with their innate sense of style to form a modern, multidisciplinary creative studio. Mimi Jung is a Cooper Union grad, former installation artist and one-time graphic designer for Art+Commerce. Mimi’s experience crosses disciplines—having designed books, interactive exhibitions and digital experiences for clients including Random House, ICFF, P&G, and The Museum of the City of NY. Her work has been recognized by AIGA, Communication Arts and The Art Directors Club. In late 2008, Mimi started a blog, documenting her unique personal style. After being named one of New York’s top ten fashion bloggers by Huffington Post, Mimi launched a self-designed jewelry collection which has been featured by Lucky Magazine, Refinery 29 and New York Magazine. An art director by trade, Brian has spent over 10 years crafting integrated campaigns and digital experiences for clients including Armani Beauty, ABSOLUT, Kodak, IKEA, Johnson & Johnson and The Principality of Monaco. Most recently, he was the creative director of Swedish digital agency Great Works, where he helped launch Yves Saint Laurent's Belle D'Opium fragrance and rebrand and relaunch Kahlúa. Brian has been invited to lecture on design and sustainability at VCU Brandcenter, AIGA and One Club. His work has been recognized by Communication Arts Magazine, Adweek, PSFK, The Art Directors Club and FWA. When he's not working in the studio, he can be found on the street photographing Mimi for the Brook&Lyn blog. Read Less
