Work Experience

Living City Block

Contract Designer

This position began as a class project for the 2010 Biennial of the Americas. Living City Block asked our class to create a identity to launch a partnership with the Biennial. My identity was selected and I moved on to interning with them to build our the system.

Once the internship was complete, Living City Block asked to bring me on as a design contractor to execute design tasks moving forward.
January 2010 - August 2010 Colorado, United States

Flobots.org

Contract Designer

Designed various marks, graphics, promo materials and fundraising campaigns.
June 2010 - November 2012 Colorado, United States

Monigle Associates

Intern

I held an internship with Monigle Associates during my junior year of college.

As a part of the team, I concepted and executed identity systems for large institutions including NYU Hospital and Century Link. Much of my work went to be produced by clients with culminating projects being the 2011 CoBiz Bank Annual Report and Corporate Identity of Revana Growth Solutions.
January 2011 - June 2011 Colorado, United States

HighBridge Creative

Lead Designer

My first design gig. I contracted for the founder, Orlando in 2011. Over a year and a half we grew the business to multiple clients and a team of four.

Highbridge Creative officially launched 2012 and I continued to grow the team and lead design bringing on a junior designer, multiple design interns, and two web developers.

Our service offering focused on web design/dev with an additional full-service suite from branding to packaging.

Clients were international, ranging from the US to Canada and S. Korea. The industry focus was hospitality and municipalities.

Client list included–fyi most of this work is not mine anymore, though some surprisingly still is :)

Intercontinental Montreal (https://montreal.intercontinental.com)
Hotel HVQ (https://hvq.com/en)
Genik Inc (https://www.genikinc.com/en)
Montreal Science Center (https://www.montrealsciencecentre.com)
Port of Montreal (https://www.oldportofmontreal.com/)

I mentored junior designers in tackling projects while concepting and executing the range of needs for every large client. The international nature of the projects opened my eyes to the complexities of localization at a very early stage in my career. Functionally, I was creating wireframes in Photoshop (yeah) during the day and flying to pre-print press checks at night. The freedom and ownership over every inch of projects was immensely valuable for the start of my career and continues to inform my process today.
December 2012 - June 2015 Colorado, United States

AIGA Colorado

Professional Grant Chair

I participated in writing, scheduling and promotion of the Robert Taylor professional grant for the 2014-2015 season.

Traveled to college campuses all across Colorado to pitch the scholarship and facilitate design workshops with students and faculty.

Created the visual identity for the 2014 Colorado Chapter Season.

All of the work culminated in delivering the scholarship awards speech at the 2015 AIGA Gala at the Denver Performing Arts Center.

Red Rocks Community College

MGD CTE Advisory board

I served as an advisor for developing curriculum within the Multimedia and Graphic Design program.

The college was looking to level-up their class offerings to students. Myself and a colleague were brought in to offer professional insights from the design field. Our advising helped align curriculum with job expectations and skillsets.
January 2015 - August 2015 Colorado, United States

Made

Design Director

I was brought on to Made as designer but quickly became an integral generalist. Working across teams and disciplines from strategy & art direction to design & development, I touched nearly every project in the agency.

I led the design of multiple web/interactive projects for New Balance, Clayton Homes, Beats, Global Silicon Valley and Earth Balance. As art director, I concepted and executed campaign creative for all of the above plus Lyft, Church's Chicken, Fridays, Under Armor, Pepsi, and more.
June 2015 - July 2017 Colorado, United States

Radar

CCO | Founder

Radar Relay was among the first DEXs (Decentralized Exchange) in the blockchain world.

I was among a handful of founders to spin up Radar Relay. Our founder group included developers, business majors, marketers, and myself as design/creative. As such, I branded the project, worked as product designer to scope and build the product, and spearheaded social and marketing campaigns and assets.

Rapid growth afforded me the chance to build and manage a design team of four and contribute to scaling the company to 26 members. At scale I became product manager to continue pushing the team to execute.

Radar Relay raised over $13 million in VC funding and drew over $165 million in volume through our trading interface and was acquired in 2020.
July 2017 - January 2019

ManyUses®

Designer | Founder

ManyUses is the brainchild of myself–designer–and my brother–developer. We set out on a mission to help founders build products faster and more efficiently than a typical agency.

Taking the approaches of The Lean Startup and applying it to a focused agency model proved to be a beneficial approach for clients. As with any startup I handled everything from design process to PO boxes.
