Gallery Assistant Volunteer

^Gallery attendant at THE NEXT WAVE: INDUSTRIAL DESIGN INNOVATION IN THE 21ST CENTURY exhibit. Engaged patrons, collected survey responses, and answered questions.

^ Assisted with the de-installation of David Amaroso’s Delicate/Violent exhibit. Removed and wrapped artwork, removed wall labels and vinyl signage, patched, sanded, and painted walls.

^ Assisted with installation of Gute Brandao’s Field of Expressive Silence exhibit. Loaded-in and prepared artwork for installation. Assisted in composing the layout alongside the exhibit curator, Cynthia Connolly, exhibit preparator, and artist.

^ Assisted in the installation of the Amy Hughes Branden: Demographic & Aaron Hughes: Sampling exhibit. Loaded-in and prepared artwork for installation. Assisted in composing the layout alongside the exhibit curator, exhibit preparator, and artist and installed paintings on the wire track system.

^ Assisted in the de-installation of THE NEXT WAVE: INDUSTRIAL DESIGN INNOVATION IN THE 21ST CENTURY exhibit from the Terrace Gallery, Artisphere’s largest gallery space. Removed fragile objects from space, cleaned off museum putty, assisted with the creation of condition reports, removed shelving, spackled, and removed labels.

^ Played an important role in GLC’s annual silent auction fundraiser: designed the event’s marketing campaign, secured donations, coordinated logistics, tracked contributions, and generated detailed thank you letters.
