My background is in film/ video producing and for several years I co-owned and operated a small business which specialized in original and commercial video production.
In 2013, I had an opportunity to take on an exciting role in the emerging field of video content creation and operation for live concerts and events. My small business connections led me to forge an ongoing working relationship with one of Chicago’s most sought after talents, Chance the Rapper. I was able to use my passion for technology and storytelling to conquer complex video systems for big-league shows including two tours and his headlining performance at last summer’s Lollapalooza.

Gig employment consisting of both multiple month tours and one off show dates. Primary
responsibilities include content management and creation, video system design and execution, and live show operation. Also responsible for loading gear, managing local crews, lighting set and strike, and general technical logistics. Operated with a variety of controllers and media servers including GrandMA2, Green Hippo Grasshopper, Modul8 and Resolume.

Managed all productions and personnel in both commercial and artistic endeavors. Oversaw crews of up to 60 people as well as maintaining budgets, editing, casting, and supervising pre and post production. Clients included Intel, Wrangler Jeans, Chicago Bears, and Nike. Six projects were accepted into the Chicago International Film Festival, one winning the “Chicago Award” for best locally produced film (2009).
