Makers, entrepreneurs, freelancers, and artists are thriving around the globe, and we want to bring to light those who are going above and beyond in their own communities. That’s why, for the first time ever, during the week of September 14th–18th, 28 hand-picked cities from around the world will be hosting their own free, one-night-only 99U Local event.

his is not a conference; it is a casual, intimate, local 99U-style experience in your own city. Each event will consist of three curated talks that share road-tested advice on making ideas happen, followed by a casual networking and cocktails hour. It’s going to be insightful and intimate—a chance to learn from the best and the brightest in your community.
Below are our 28 inaugural cities in which you'll find 99U Local this fall. Each one was chosen via an extensive Ambassador application process in early 2015, and the Ambassadors we found are just as committed and passionate as we are about empowering creatives, building supportive networks, and sharing real-world, best practices.
