I create surreal worlds and real characters for adults and children alike adding symbolic elements to construct additional level of visual metaphors. Humans and non-humans co-exist in harmony on my illustrations. The inspiration for work comes from different angles of day-to-day reality, from an empty space of here-and-now. The work is produced in traditional way with ink on paper and then mixed digitally on mac with Wacom tablet.
In 2010 I received Masters degree in illustration at Camberwell College of the Arts, London. In 2011 I got third place in the Macmillan Children's Picture Book Award for the story "Me and You".
